 ion will delve into the disturbing trend of contemporary media rhetoric th
 at unfairly scapegoats and vilifies disabled and neurodiverse people.\n\nW
 e’ll highlight historical contexts where similar patterns of discriminat
 ion have emerged\, and explain how this climate of stigmatisation poses ch
 allenges for disabled graduates today.\n\nIn this session\, we will\n\n 	C
 larify the reasons behind the recent resurgence of media demonisation of d
 isabled people.\n 	Introduce societal and cultural factors that contribute
  to this trend.\n 	Highlight historical instances where similar patterns o
 f discrimination against disabled people have emerged.\n 	Enable participa
 nts to recognise recurrent themes\, and explore what we can do to break th
 e cycle.\n 	Introduce practical examples to provide an evidence base chall
